Some Chinese universities have said they will allow students to complete the semester from home in a bid to reduce the chances of a coronavirus outbreak during the New Year travel. At the same time, students scared of relaxation in restrictions have also started returning home. Universities in Shanghai and surrounding cities have said students will be given the option of returning home as soon as possible or staying on campus and being tested every 48 hours, according to news agency AP. However, it is not clear how many schools are associated with these. Lunar New Year, which falls on January 22 this year, is traditionally China's busiest travel season.

According to experts, another wave of corona may come

There have been frequent reports of clashes between students and authorities at universities during the lockdown in China over the past three years. The students were not allowed to enter the campus, they were locked in the hostel rooms. China has also deleted the mobile app that monitors people from Tuesday. This also ended the apprehension that people from hot spots could be forcibly quarantined.

At the same time, after the relaxation of restrictions by the government, experts have expressed the possibility of another wave of corona. On the other hand, Reuters news agency quoted China's National Health Commission as saying that 7,679 new cases were registered in the country on December 12, up from 8,838 a day earlier. Overall, the cases are continuously falling in China due to less investigation of people.

Let us tell you that a few days ago people have taken to the streets against the Zero Covid policy of the government. Please tell that the effect of this protest was seen in 13 big cities of China. Seeing the anger and protests of the people, now China has announced to relax the restrictions after three years.

COVID restrictions will be relaxed

In fact, medical supplies, shops and other businesses have come to a standstill all over China. Long queues of people are being seen outside the medicine shops. Even the shops which are open are failing to meet the needs of the people. In such a situation, anger is increasing among people. The situation in China is so bad that people have to wander from here to there for medical facilities.
