German luxury carmaker Audi has launched its flagship Audi Q8 facelift SUV in the Indian market. The company launched it at a starting price of Rs 1.17 crore (ex-showroom). Earlier this month, bookings for the latest Audi Q8 started at Rs 5 lakh.

Design

The latest Audi Q8 has a large trapezoidal grille, which has been given a black color scheme. A new set of headlamps with 2D Audi logo, large air dam, MATRIX technology and an updated rear profile make it more special than before.

Features and interior

Talking about the interior, the layout of the latest Audi Q8 has not changed much. The dual-screen setup in the middle has also been retained. One of them is to manage infotainment and the other to control the air-conditioning function. However, the Q8 has now become even better in terms of feature list. This list includes ventilated front seats, ADAS and ambient lighting system.

Engine and Performance

The Audi Q8 facelift SUV has a 3-litre TFSI petrol engine, which is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The power and torque figures are 340 bhp and 500 Nm. To reduce emissions, a 48V mild-hybrid system has also been installed in it, which will make the car more fuel efficient than before. The Audi Q8 Facelift will compete with SUVs like Mercedes GLS, BMW X7 and Volvo XC90 in the Indian market.
