Two US soldiers were killed in Jordan on Friday while countering Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. 1 soldier is still missing.
According to CENTCOM, four injured soldiers were taken to a Jordanian hospital and were later released. Other soldiers with minor injuries have returned to duty.
Iranian state TV claimed that fuel tanks at the Al-Azraq American base in Jordan were targeted.
According to America, 16 American soldiers have been killed so far since the war started on February 28. Earlier this month, the US accused Iran of targeting ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Since then the attacks between the two countries have intensified.
These attacks come a month after the 14-point ceasefire agreement signed on June 17. This agreement was signed by US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian. But on July 8, Trump declared it over. Iran also suspended the MOU, accusing America of breaking promises.

Iran's senior commander Major General Mohsen Rezaei also said that if the US attacks continue, Iran will resume full-scale offensive operations. He said that now Iran will not be limited to just retaliating.
