The Odyssey Worldwide Collection Day 2: Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey took the box office by storm on the second day.
The Odyssey is going to create a new history, leaving behind Christopher Nolan's blockbuster films The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Interstellar and Oppenheimer.
In just 2 days, The Odyssey has recovered its huge budget. This film, which is printing huge money in the foreign market, has made such a strong opening that even Christopher Oppenheimer's highest grossing film has lagged behind it.
The Odyssey's Worldwide Collection
According to reports, The Odyssey became the highest-grossing film in the opening weekend of Christopher Nolan's career. This film has done a business of 257.8 million dollars (about Rs 2,482 crore) worldwide in just two days.
The Odyssey Box Office Collection earned $120.5 million (approximately Rs. 1,160 crore) at the domestic box office, while the earning in the international market was $137.3 million (approximately Rs. 1,322 crore).
Oppenheimer's record broken
It left Oppenheimer behind, which had opened 2023 with $82.5 million (about Rs 794 crore) in North America and about $174 million (about Rs 1,675 crore) worldwide. With the pace at which The Odyssey is earning, it is expected that it will leave behind many Hollywood blockbusters.
The Odissi Indian Collection
Not only the overseas markets, Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is also doing well in India. The film opened with a gross collection of Rs 20 crore on the first day. The earnings were tremendous on the second day also. The film earned Rs 22 crore at the Indian box office on Saturday.
Total collection has reached close to 40 crores. The business of the film is expected to increase on Sunday also. This film has also affected the earnings of Hindi films.
