According to outage tracking website Downdetector, as of 5:23 am IST, over 3.4 lakh reports have been received, making it one of the biggest technical glitches on YouTube in recent months.

This problem has been reported not only in India but also in several countries, including the US and the UK. Currently, there has been no official statement from YouTube regarding this outage. However, upon checking, YouTube is working as usual. However, as soon as YouTube went down, #YouTubeDown started trending on X.

These users are facing problems

According to Downdetector data, 56 percent of users are experiencing video streaming issues, while 32 percent are experiencing problems with the mobile app. Another 12 percent are unable to access the website at all. Many users reported that their YouTube videos were not loading, while others said they were unable to see search results and the comment section was blank.

Some users' accounts were automatically logged out, while others were seeing an error message on the homepage. However, the problem has now been resolved, and YouTube is now running smoothly.
