America will search for aliens, is going to deploy the world's first surveillance system Gremlin, these will be its features
American whistleblowers had recently said that Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) (commonly known as UFOs) are real and interact with humans. After this, now the Pentagon has announced the full-time deployment of its new surveillance system to keep an eye on UFOs. Let's know the details about this.
The Pentagon is gearing up to deploy a revolutionary UFO surveillance system called Gremlin in early 2025. The announcement comes just days after US whistleblowers confirmed the existence of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) i.e. UFOs and their interaction with humans. Despite these revelations, the Pentagon still continues to deny the existence of extraterrestrial life.
What will be the role of Gremlin in analyzing UFO activity?
The main job of Gremlin will be to help analyze life patterns. The Pentagon's fiscal year 2024 report reveals plans for its deployment in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025. These efforts are being made as part of a larger plan to improve our understanding and monitoring capabilities in the case of UFOs. Pentagon report mentions multiple incidents
The Pentagon report covering UAP incidents from May 1, 2023 to June 1, 2024 found that the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) received a total of 757 reports during this period. Of these, 485 were related to UAP incidents that occurred in the reporting period. The remaining 272 reports were related to incidents from previous years (2021-2022) but were not reported until this period and were therefore not included in earlier annual UAP reports.
AARO resolved multiple UAP cases
During the reporting period, AARO resolved 118 cases. All of these were considered to be common objects such as balloons, birds and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) of different types. As of May 31, 2024, another 174 cases were pending closure for final review and approval from the director. As of the publication date of this report, all of these had been resolved and found to be normal objects.
Gremlin will have advanced radar and telescope
The Pentagon report also highlights the Gremlin sensor architecture. It was first revealed last year. Developed by the Georgia Tech Research Institute, Gremlin is a network of 2D and 3D radars as well as long-range electro-optical and infrared telescopes. These technologies are intended to measure the range, direction and altitude of target objects.
In the test conducted in March, Gremlin successfully collected data and is now to be deployed at a 'National Security Site' for a 90-day 'Pattern of Life Collection'. This is part of AARO's continuing efforts to enhance its capabilities to detect, track and characterize UAP.
