Kawasaki has launched its new bike, named Kawasaki Versys 1100. This is a touring motorcycle. It has been launched in Europe. Many changes have been made in this mile-muncher. Due to which it looks more attractive than before.
New Kawasaki Versys 1100: Engine
Its engine has been increased from 1,043 cc to 1,099 cc. The effect of which is that now this engine generates 133 bhp of power and 112.5 Nm of peak torque. The bore of its inline-four mill has been kept at 77mm, but the stroke length has been reduced to 59mm. Along with this, it has also been given a new camshaft with flywheel, long intake funnel inside the air box, narrow intake port and low valve lift.
New Kawasaki Versys 1100: Variants
It has been launched in three variants, which are base, S and SE. Its top-spec SE trim has Showa electronic semi-active suspension. Its other two variants have manual suspension with fewer adjustment provisions. It has a 260 mm rear disc brake. Not only this, Kawasaki has given USB Type-C charging port in this bike.
New Kawasaki Versys 1100: Price
Sales of Kawasaki Versys 1000 have been discontinued in India. In view of which it is expected that Versys 1100 will be launched in India soon. The ex-showroom price of Versys 1000 was Rs 13.91 lakh in India. The new Versys 1100 price may be slightly higher than this.
