Iran issues ultimatum to Gulf countries: 'Force US forces to withdraw from your territory'
Iran has issued a stern warning to the US and Israel that if American infrastructure is targeted, there will be devastating attacks on US military bases in the Gulf countries and the energy and economic centers of allied countries.
The ongoing war in the Middle East shows no signs of abating. Gulf countries are suffering heavy losses in the US-Israel-Iran conflict. The Iranian military has taken a tough stance in response to recent threats made by US President Trump, warning of a major attack on the US, Israel, and its allies.
Indeed, Ibrahim Zolfaghari, spokesman for the Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, issued a statement on Saturday morning threatening devastating attacks against US and Israeli assets.
Infrastructure Targeted
Ebrahim Zolfaghari said that if the US targeted Iranian infrastructure, it would be retaliated with attacks not only on military assets but also on the energy and economic centers of allied countries, and devastating attacks on countries hosting US military bases.
Trump had warned of attack
It is noteworthy that US President Trump recently warned that the US would continue to target Iran's civilian infrastructure, including bridges, power plants, and energy facilities.
Force the Americans to withdraw from their territory
Following this, the Iranian military command has warned that any implementation of these threats will be met with overwhelming force by the Islamic Republic's armed forces.
The Iranian command has issued an ultimatum to regional countries, stating that to avoid any major losses, those hosting US military bases must force the Americans to withdraw from their territories.
Ebrahim Zolfaghari warned that retaliatory strikes will now target military assets, as well as more important and extensive areas of their capitals, as well as US allies.
According to a Press TV report, the Iranian military command stated that the withdrawal of foreign forces is the only way for host countries to avoid being caught in the ongoing war.
