Land Rover Discovery Sport launched in the Indian market, with the increase in price these changes took place in the design and interior.

Land Rover India has launched the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport in the domestic market. The new Land Rover Discovery Sport is priced at Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and gets a mild styling upgrade along with an updated cabin.

This brings the SUV in line with the rest of the Land Rover range. The Discovery Sport was updated globally in June last year and is now being introduced in India.

Design update

Talking about the design, it includes the grille, lower body sills and lower bumper and these are done in gloss black color. The gloss black detailing extends to the wheel arches, along with the three-line signature of the front air intake giving it a distinctive look. The SUV also gets new 19-inch diamond-turned finish alloy wheels, while Land Rover has added a new Veresin Blue color option.

Interior

Talking about the interior, the old screen has been replaced with a new 11.4-inch curved glass display for the infotainment system. The center console has been redesigned for a more minimalist look like the Range Rover and Defender models. Apart from this, the new Defender has been provided with all the necessary features including panoramic sunroof and 3D surround camera.

Engine

Available only in Dynamic SE trim, engine options for the 2024 Discovery Sport include the same 2.0-litre petrol engine with 245 bhp and 365 Nm of peak torque, while the 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel develops 201 bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque. Both units come with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
