Bomb Threat News: There was a stir for several hours on Friday morning due to the information about the bomb being placed in the plane coming from Moscow, the capital of Russia. After the plane's landing in Delhi, all the crew members and all the passengers on board the aircraft were safely taken off. In this episode, a total of 386 passengers and 16 crew members were safely ejected from the flight. According to the Delhi Police, after a careful investigation, the information about the bomb was termed as a rumour. After this, the officials of Delhi Airport also heaved a sigh of relief.
IGI airport was on alert after bomb threat
According to officials, a bomb threat email was received at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Thursday night on a flight from Moscow to Delhi. Thereafter, security agencies were put on alert and airport security was tightened. The Delhi Police did not find anything in the investigation.
On the other hand, Delhi Police says that the plane was to reach Delhi Airport from Moscow at 3:20 am. There is a bomb in the plane when the bomb was reported at 11:15 a.m. on an incoming flight from Moscow to Terminal 3 (T3) at 3:20 p.m. After this, the aircraft was thoroughly examined by unloading the passengers and crew members. After this it was termed as a rumour.
According to news agency ANI, the Delhi Police received information about a bomb being planted in the plane coming from Moscow city of Russia to Delhi on Friday morning. After this there was a stir in the department. The plane landed at Delhi's Palam Airport at around 3.20 am. After this the investigation of the aircraft was started.
Let us inform here that in the first week of October, security agencies in Delhi received information about a bomb in an Iranian passenger plane. After this an alert was issued to all the security agencies and related departments. Along with this, the aircraft was not allowed to land in the country's capital Delhi. Actually, this passenger plane is now moving towards China. At the same time, security agencies were entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring the aircraft.
Actually, permission was sought for immediate landing in Delhi and Delhi ATC suggested the plane to go to Jaipur. At the same time, the pilot of the plane refused and left the Indian airspace.
