What is monkeypox disease?
Let us tell you that monkeypox is a viral zoonosis disease, which is a virus that spreads from animals to humans. The symptoms of monkeypox are similar to those seen in smallpox patients. There are two different genetics groups of monkeypox virus. In this, the first is the Central African (Congo Basin) variant and the second is the West African variant. It is worth noting here that the Congo Basin variant has previously caused more serious disease. This is the reason why it is considered a more contagious and dangerous virus.
How does monkeypox spread?
The case of monkeypox spreading from human to human comes to the fore only when a person comes in contact with an infected person.
