Imran Khan likely to be arrested in Toshakhana case, Lahore Police arrives to arrest him

Pakistan's former PM Imran Khan likely to be arrested any time. To arrest the former PM in the Toshakhana case, the Islamabad Police arrived at his residence in Zaman Park, Lahore. In fact, a few days back, Imran has been held guilty of cheaply selling gifts worth crores of rupees from the government treasury (Toshakhana) by the Islamabad court. After which a non-bailable warrant was issued against him.
Action being taken in Toshakhana case
Police has reached Lahore with an arrest warrant to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. A non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against Khan by a district court.
Fawad Chaudhary said – Arrest will worsen the situation in Pakistan
According to Pak media, Khan will be arrested after completing all legal requirements. Meanwhile, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary said that any attempt to arrest Khan would seriously worsen the situation in Pakistan. Fawad said, "I want to warn this anti-Pakistan government not to put Pakistan in more trouble and act sensibly." With this, he asked the workers to gather at Zaman Park.
Warrant issued for failure to appear in court
Actually, Imran Khan had to appear in 4 different courts on February 28 in many cases, he reached 3 places but did not reach the hearing of Toshakhana case. To this, the court said that Imran has repeatedly failed to appear in the court and the accused is making cases pick and choose and does not consider this case a priority. Due to this, the judge adjourned the hearing for March 7 and issued a non-bailable warrant against Imran.
