The US and Israel have intensified their attacks against Iran. These attacks targeted a century-old medical research center in Tehran, a bridge near the capital, and two major steel plants.
Iran has warned of retaliation, while both countries continue their attacks.
Increasing Attacks on Iran
A highway bridge connecting the capital, Tehran, to the western city of Karaj was also attacked. The deputy governor of Alborz province told Iran's state news agency ISNA that two people were killed in the attack.
The US and Israeli attacks also affected two of Iran's largest steel companies. The Khuzistan Steel Company in Ahvaz and the Mobarakeh Steel Company in Isfahan province were forced to completely shut down. These attacks have severely impacted Iran's industrial capacity.
Core Objectives Nearing Completion: Trump
US President Donald Trump said in an address to the nation on Wednesday that the US is very close to achieving its core objectives in Iran. However, he did not give a specific timeframe for the end of the conflict. Trump stated that the US is steadily advancing towards its goals.
The Fight Will Continue: Iran
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf condemned the enemy's aggression and said it would be met with a strong response. This statement comes amid reports of increased US military deployments in West Asia, including the arrival of thousands of US Marines aboard the USS Tripoli.
He stressed that the Iranian people, under the leadership of the Supreme Leader, will not only defend their rights but also force the enemy to regret their actions.
Iran has clearly stated that Tehran will continue the fight against its enemies. The Iranian military has warned that the war will continue until the enemies are humiliated and surrender.
Iranian military officials have expressed fears of a possible US ground attack and have stated that any such attempt will be met with a resounding response.
