North Korean dictator Kim Jong again warned, resolved not to give up nuclear weapons
Kim has said that the US aims not only to eliminate our nuclear weapons, but to topple our regime by forcing North Korea to give up or weaken the power of self-defense.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has publicly vowed not to give up the country's nuclear weapons. He accused America of trying to topple the country's government. This information was given by the media there on Friday. According to Pyongyang's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), he clarified that Pyongyang has no intention of resuming talks for nuclear disarmament. North Korea's parliament approved a new nuclear policy during a crucial session earlier this week.
Kim has said that, 'The US aims not only to eliminate our nuclear weapons, but to topple our regime by forcing North Korea to give up or weaken the power of self-defense.'
According to the News Agency report, Kim said that North Korea should continuously expand the scope of its strategic nuclear operation in order to strengthen its nuclear war capability.
His strong message came when the SPA adopted a new law that allows nuclear strikes to be launched when the regime is attacked.
The KCNA stated that, under the law, a nuclear attack to destroy a provocation may be carried out automatically and immediately if the command and control system of nuclear forces is under threat of attack by hostile forces.
North Korea also organized a big event in Pyongyang on Thursday to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the country's foundation.
Nuclear talks between the US and North Korea have stalled amid little progress in inter-Korean reconciliation since the Hanoi summit between former President Donald Trump and Kim ended without a deal in 2019.
