Pakistan Economic Crisis: 'Pakistan has already gone bankrupt' - statement of Pak's Defense Minister

Pakistan is bankrupt and the way to bail it out is not with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) but within Pakistan itself. This thing has been said by none other than Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.

The Defense Minister of Pakistan has blamed the governments, bureaucracy and political people for this situation in the country. Asif said, "He has been a Member of Parliament for the last 33 years and has seen the decline of the country's politics for the last 32 years." Now that the situation is getting out of hand, then there is a need to seriously look for ways to improve it.

The Defense Minister said, 'Taking a loan from the IMF on tough terms will not do any good to the country. If the government sells only two golf clubs built on precious land in the country, then one-fourth of the country's debt can be repaid with the money received. This will improve the economic condition of the country. Asif is a senior leader of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and his opinion counts for a lot.

In an interview with Sama TV, he has suggested this way to improve the economic condition of Pakistan. Asif said that the country is combating terrorism firmly. Security agencies are working tirelessly for this. Due to the policies of the previous government, terrorism got a chance to take root, the punishment of which the country is now facing.
