Rajasthan: Female agent of ISI used to talk to soldier trapped in honeytrap on video call

Honey Trap: Soldier Shantimoy (24), arrested for sending important information related to military areas and army through internet media, has made many big revelations in the interrogation.  The soldier admitted that he had fallen into the trap of two Pakistani female agents, Nisha and Gurnoor alias Ankita.  After getting caught in the trap, he had sent many important information including videos of army maneuvers, weapons, maps to both the women agents.  Both the women used to talk to him by making video calls and then kept gathering information.

 Gurnur, who had trapped Shantimoy posted in the military cantonment in Jaipur, had told himself to be a resident of Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh.  She had told the jawan that she worked in the Military Engineering Services.  Another woman, Nisha, had told to work in the Military Nursing Service.  Umesh Mishra, Director General of Intelligence in Rajasthan Police said that Shantimoy, a resident of Kanchalpur in Bankuda district in West Bengal, had also joined the army in March 2018.

 The women lured the jawan with money by trapping him in the honey trap.  The money was also sent to his bank account.  Mishra said that after the suspicion, the jawan was being monitored for several days.  He was arrested on July 25 after preliminary interrogation in custody.  The investigation so far revealed that both the women worked for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.  It is noteworthy that Intelligence made the arrest of the jawan officially public on Tuesday evening.

 It is worth noting that the Indian Army jawan Shantimoy, who came in the Honey Trap of Pakistani female agent, has been arrested by the team of CID Intelligence.  A soldier, a resident of Kanchanpur district in Bengal, was sending information about the military's strategic importance to a woman agent through internet media.  State Director General (Intelligence) Umesh Mishra said that the espionage activities being carried out in Rajasthan by Pakistani intelligence agencies are being continuously monitored by CID Intelligence under Operation Sarhad.  Meanwhile, it came to the notice that Jawan Shantimoy is in constant touch with Pakistani intelligence handlers through internet media.
