An Australian entrepreneur hits the bullseye with her first novel, The Olive Tree

With millions of books published each year by aspiring authors, it's difficult to stand out. Business books and romance novels have been on the rise in recent years. Nothing too serious, after all, everyone wishes they could disappear into a fairy tale.

By pure chance, we came across a novel by a new author named Mariam Elhouli. The Australian mother of five, who is also the founder of the "Eve's Skin" skincare line.

When you first open her book, The Olive Tree, it doesn't seem like much at first glance, but the more you read, the more it draws you in.

Written in a simple and easy-to-understand format, the book transports you into the lives of the characters, witnessing all of their struggles and emotionally touching you without you even realising it.

The book delves deeply into some very difficult core topics such as war, poverty, and domestic violence, all while spinning an absolutely amazing story.

Mariam has done an outstanding job of portraying all of the issues in such a way that you are left with no choice but to believe that there is another side to the story of war that we have never considered.

The young author will undoubtedly become a household name in the future, and we can't wait to see what else she has in store for us.
