Call Drop in India: 5G is being prepared but 91 percent of the people of the country are troubled by the call drop

Preparations are underway to start 5G service in the country soon. Jio has also said about its launch this year. But at present the people of the country are troubled by Call Drop in India. About 91 percent people in the country are unhappy with 'call drops' and call networks. According to the online platform LocalCircle, a survey focused on call quality was conducted in 339 districts of India. The survey found that 91 percent of the people are facing problems like call network and call drops. Whereas 82 percent of the people have to resort to data or WiFi calls to deal with the problem of the network. 

Trouble making calls up to 50 percent

When asked about what percentage of their calls had to face poor network or call drops in the last three months, 37 per cent said that 20 to 50 per cent of their calls faced such problems. Of the 8,364 people surveyed, 91 percent said they were troubled by call networks and drop calls, while 56 percent said it was a serious problem. The survey is based on feedback from over 31,000 people across the country. 

Ongoing preparation for 5G

5G service is going to be available in the country soon. The country's largest telecom company Jio (Reliance Jio) has claimed this. According to Jio, he is going to launch it in big metros on Diwali. The company has made all the preparations regarding this and has also promised to deliver it across the country by December 2023. Airtel has also made a similar claim. According to experts, with the advent of 5G, the speed of the Internet can increase up to ten times.
