"Energy, Emotions & Expression" - Anchor Priyank Desai reveals the secrets of connecting the live audience.

While interviewing him, we came to know some really good insights on anchoring, communication and entertainment, Well, before telling you the secrets of an event, let me tell you something about Anchor Priyank Desai.

Priyank Desai is basically an engineer who has done his Marketing in MBA and is currently pursuing the Entertainment Industry. He believes everything teaches you something that helps you follow your dream more strongly and makes your base even stronger. Having a Bermuda triangle of art, science and commerce, he understands the art, science and commerce of events, projects and how well he can excel at it with his presence. Well, more of this later in the article. Lets jump directly into the interview..

The very first question we asked him was what are the basics of connecting  the live audience : in that he added that it was really simple - " Connect The Common Ground" and there will always be something that will be common between you and the crowd, like age, gender, home town, city, language, education, circle of influence and in this way just know your audience well before jumping on the stage and half of your work is already done. Now you are not talking to some unknown audience, rather you are talking to someone you already know.

The second question we asked was what kind of energy one must carry while going on stage : he replied it is the energy of belief. Believing that they love you, they know you and they will connect with you. More importantly, be yourself. The moment you start pretending you are someone else, the game is over. Even you will not be able to connect with yourself. In short, connect with yourself first and the audience will automatically connect with you.

The third question was how to use emotions : here he mentioned that emotions doesn't mean you need to be sad or sober. We have in total nine emotions and the combination of all those creates infinite possibilities. But the strong emotion which the audience carries is the kind of emotion they already felt and you let them feel that again. Love, laughter, friendship, bond, pride, family and culture are some of the best areas of emotions one must understand and explore from within before you let others feel the same. And now the expression of those emotions - only a word for that is to "feel".

Travel and explore the world and more of its people, culture and content. Consume as much as you can and you will create an expression that will say even more when you take a pause while speaking.

Well then, try to get more and more experience of stage, events and opportunities, even when you don't get special benefits from it, which will definitely help you in many ways, like it helped me to host more than 700 events, 5 films, many script writing and much more.

Still, I am grateful to God, my family and each and every individual I have crossed paths with and all those who believed in me.
