United Nations (UN) experts said that North Korea is preparing for a nuclear test. For this, fresh preparations are going on at the North West test site of the country. Construction work is in progress for testing. It last conducted a nuclear test in 2017. First nuclear test since 2017
This will be North Korea's first nuclear test since September 2017. It conducted nuclear tests six times from 2006 to 2017. In 2017, North Korea claimed to have detonated a thermonuclear bomb fitted with an intercontinental ballistic missile.
