According to the National Fire Agency, about 100 people were reported injured as a crowd gathered during the festival in Itawan Leisure district on Saturday night. According to KBS broadcast, two people have also died in the stampede.

Many people got cardiac arrest due to stampede

According to fire officials, about 50 people were given CPR after suffering a cardiac arrest in Seoul's Itawan district as a stampede broke out at Halloween parties. At the same time, emergency officials have received at least 81 calls from people with difficulty in breathing.

Accident happened due to overcrowding in narrow lane

A National Fire Agency official said a narrow street near the festival site in Seoul was crowded, causing people to crush each other and then a stampede. He said hundreds of people were injured in the stampede.

Injured people admitted to hospital

After the accident, dozens of people are being given CPR on the streets of Itawan, while many others have been admitted to nearby hospitals, police said. The official said on condition of anonymity that the details of the incident were still under investigation.
