Ukraine Russia War: Three people, including an elderly woman, were killed in a Russian rocket fire in Ukraine's Kharkiv region recently. This information was given by the governor of this region on Tuesday.

Kharkiv is the second largest city of Ukraine

Let us tell you that Kharkiv is the second largest city of Ukraine. It is close to the Russian border. There is continuous shelling during the entire conflict. Governor Oleh Cinehub said on Telegram, 'This night, the enemy once again launched a rocket attack on Kharkiv.

Two storey building damaged

"A two-storey building in the industrial district was damaged and a private residential building, where a 73-year-old woman was staying, was destroyed," he said. Unfortunately, that woman also died. Two people were killed in shelling in the village of Zolochiv, north of Kharkiv.

In a separate message, the governor reported a new rocket attack on Tuesday morning and said a residential apartment building in the central part of the city was nearly destroyed. 

Three people rescued

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on Telegram: "Three people, including two women and a man, have already been rescued from under the ruins of a residential building."

Air strike warning issued in Ukraine

On Tuesday morning, an air strike warning was issued across Ukraine and officials reported an explosion in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where a fuel depot was targeted. 

Russia refused

Russia, which invaded Ukraine on February 24, denied intentionally targeting civilians. Ukrainian towns and cities have been devastated by Russian military attacks.
