Piles of snow are lying on the roads

It is being told that up to 6 feet of snow is lying on the roads of Buffalo, due to which the traffic has come to a complete standstill. At the same time, the Meteorological Department estimates that 2 inches (2.5 to 5 centimeters) of snow could fall in Buffalo on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the emergency services department said officials are also concerned about possible flooding at the end of the week as temperatures rise as snow begins to melt. 

Airport had to be closed

Buffalo Niagara International Airport was covered by 49.2 inches (1.25 m) of snow as of 10 a.m. Monday, according to the weather office. Therefore, the government was forced to keep the airport closed till Wednesday morning. Nearly 3,000 domestic and international US flights were canceled as of 2 p.m. Tuesday.
