China: uncontrollable situation in China, hospitals full of patients; Employees working overtime at funeral sites

Corona virus outbreak has increased in China. The situation in the country has become such that hospitals are overwhelmed with patients. There was an influx of patients inside and outside the hospitals on Wednesday. Many hospitals do not even have medicines to treat COVID. Medicines can be given only for cold-cough symptoms.

Many of the country's funeral sites are also under heavy pressure. Dead bodies are coming in such a large number for the last rites that the employees working at the funeral sites are unable to even get time to eat.

Relaxation in rules amid rise in COVID cases

Explain that the havoc of COVID in China is increasing at a time when it is going to open its international borders from January 8 after three years. Will also end mandatory quarantine for international travelers. Here, Hong Kong is also going to end all strict rules from Thursday. The necessity of PCR test will end, but will have to wear a mask. However, China reported the death of only two COVID victims on Tuesday. A death was told a day before this. Deep doubts are being expressed on this official data of China.

Hospital overcrowded with patients in China

According to many international health experts, restrictions were eased in China last month following protests against the strict lockdown. After this, the COVID infection has become uncontrollable in the country. It is feared that tens of millions of people are getting infected in a day. Staff at Huaxi, the largest hospital in China's southwestern city of Chengdu, said they were overburdened with COVID patients.

An ambulance driver working here said, 'I have been working here for 30 years, but have never seen such a rush.' Another hospital employee said that there are long queues in and out of the emergency department. Most of the patients coming by ambulance have to be given oxygen. There is no stock of medicines related to COVID treatment in the hospital. Here only medicines can be given for symptoms like cold and cough.

Employees are doing extra work at the funeral site

Chengdu's largest burial ground, Dongjiao, continues to be busy. An employee said, 'The work here has increased almost 200 times. We have become so busy that we are not even getting time to eat. The same is the case with another burial site in Chengdu. An employee here told that a lot of deaths are happening due to COVID. Slots for the last rites are booked till the new year
