Corona creating ruckus in China again, Shanghai Disneyland closed, increasing number of death

Corona virus is once again causing a furore in China. The government has imposed lockdown in many cities under the zero corona policy in many cities. On Monday, Disneyland in Shanghai was suddenly closed. Shanghai Disneyland shared a notice on its official social media accounts on Monday, saying the theme park and its surrounding facilities would remain closed until further notice. 

Disney said in a statement that we apologize for the inconvenience and will refund all guests affected during this period. We will notify guests as soon as we start Shanghai Disneyland and have a specific restart date. 

According to Johns Hopkins University, Shanghai has registered a total of 64,282 cases in the past 28 days, with 97 cases of coronavirus and 595 deaths. At the same time, according to media reports, there have been 178,178 cases and 212 deaths in China in the last one month.

Last month, the country's ruling Communist Party and its leader Xi Jinping indicated that there would be no relaxation in the zero-Covid policy. He called it a people's war to stop the spread of the virus. Currently, lockdowns are in force in more than 200 places in major cities in China.
