Don't Run For Jobs; Develop Skills and Make Money Yourself: Durvesh Yadav's Recipe To Students For A Good Career!

Every year, lakhs of students pass out from college and chase job interviews to get a decent salary. However, not all can make it to the jobs. Moreover, be it government jobs or corporate, vacancies are always limited.

Who would be able to build a successful career out of this huge pool of high-scoring students? Why do students face depression when left out of job interviews? Is that the end of their careers?

Careers like IAS and other high profile Government jobs are limited and not all talented youth can become IAS Officers.

So, what is the way? How will the youth today build their career?

On this Durvesh Yadav says,

“The youth, today are misguided. No one teaches us the actual ways to make money.

Why do people get into jobs? To make money of course!”

Durvesh Yadav, a young Author, and Entrepreneur shares his insights on How to Build a Career for students. He also puts forth his views on the importance of Building a Brand and Network and the process.

“You may hold the end number of degrees, but lack skills, you will not be able to build a successful career,” states Durvesh Yadav.

When asked about the youth’s dilemma in making their careers, he expresses,

“The real reason behind today’s unemployment youth is lack of skills. If today’s youth can understand that the trend and the future are all about skills, they will never have to lament and fear having an unsuccessful career.”

He further stresses on being aware of the money system. He says,

“If the youth today can develop their skills and can understand how the money system works and flows, they can definitely build their careers. Unfortunately, that is never taught in schools or colleges…”

Durvesh urges the students to know what you are good at and develop skills, You should find out your skills, work to polish those skills, and then plan your career.”

Indeed, in the pursuit of running in the rat race, many forget to give heed to their skills. The students are seen to get so deeply engrossed in the rate of scoring high grades that they tend to ignore working on their skills which are practically needed to join any profession or more realistically to earn money.  Durvesh Yadav suggests that students must study themselves first, find their strengths and weaknesses, and work on their skills. He also gives an example: “Your grades may fetch you a job, but if you lack skills, you won’t be accepted by any organization for the long run. Your scores will not tell you how to work on a project or in any field. Your skillsets are your scores in real. Your skills will fetch you money.”

He explains the concept of earning money in detail to the students. He elucidates,

“Money is everywhere, everything is made in exchange for money. The chair you are sitting in came in exchange for money, and the phone or the laptop you are using has come in exchange for money. So, if you see where and how money is flowing, you will be able to understand that you have to be part of this circulation.”

Durvesh further suggests the youth should know and find what value they can add between this circulation of money and how money can be generated from one source to another. He cites examples of skills such as content writing, copywriting, and many such skills which are in demand these days and will be in demand forever. He cites the example of the invention of the Internet and today the whole world cannot operate without the internet.

He says, “All you need to do is fill the gap and become part of this equation. Do something exceptional.”

He affirms that the first and foremost focus of every student must be the development of skills and after this Networking plays a major role in helping a career grow. He suggests that one should know the art of appealing clients, and finding the right people. For this, one has to understand the fundamentals. He puts forth in an attempt to explain this,

“Nobody will give you money if you don’t help them make money. It is never one way, but both ways. You have to add value to their wants, and then you will be paid for the work assigned to you.”

He adds, “People pay you for results and not for the efforts. Hence, it’s your efforts that help your client to make money and in turn, you will make money. Once you have something valuable that can help people make money, they will open opportunities for you to make money. And, this is how both party wins. This is the safest and risk-free way to build a career!”

He strongly suggests students to focus on adding value to people and start approaching the right people on Social Media platforms, events, and other valuable places. He urges everyone to use social media safely and effectively as it is a great medium for networking today.

Durvesh recommends, “Connect, build connections with successful people, leaders, professionals, friends, mentors, and also common people. You never know what resource can guide you and help you in your career growth.”

He states, "Create Your Own Thing."

The world is constantly using different and innovative things to operate, and the need never ends for a better operation; all you have to do is help them what they need and you will make money automatically!

At last he says "Life is like Google, You Only Get Results When You Want and Search For It"
