High waves and strong winds wreak havoc on the sea shore in Spain, four people standing on the shore died

Strong winds and heavy rains are causing havoc in many parts of Spain. Four people died after falling into the sea in three incidents on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts. The deaths came amid warnings of high waves along the coast of Portugal in the south-west.
The person who went to save the young man drowned himself
Spanish police said a young man from Morocco and a German man died on the Mediterranean coast near the eastern city of Tarragona. The Civil Guard said the German man had gone into the water to try to save the Moroccan youth and both died while trying to save him.
Two also died in the Atlantic Ocean
At the same time, a man and a woman died after falling into the Atlantic Ocean on the northern coast of Spain. Spain's EFE news agency quoted local authorities as saying the man was a British citizen. Emergency services said rescue workers recovered bodies in two separate incidents, which occurred about 10 kilometers apart on the west coast of the northern city of Gijón.
Woman dies after hitting rocks
Authorities said the woman probably died after falling into the sea and being hit by waves against rocks. Let us tell you that Spain's National Meteorological Service had issued a warning of heavy winds in many areas of the peninsula. These include the Asturias coast, where waves were forecast to reach up to 23 feet high.
