As soon as the video went viral, demands for action against the policemen started rising. The local people created a ruckus regarding this.
A middle-aged man died after being crushed by an unknown vehicle on the bridge under Fakuli OP area on National Highway-77 on Sunday morning. At the same time, after receiving information about the accident, people created ruckus accusing Fakuli OP, who reached the spot, of throwing the body in the canal under the bridge.
Three policemen were seen throwing the dead body into the canal
Actually, a passerby made a video of the incident of the body being thrown from the bridge into the canal and circulated it on social media. In the video footage, three policemen are seen throwing the body from the bridge into the canal below. However, Dainik Jagran does not confirm this circulated video.
Local people created ruckus
Here, as soon as the police got information about the body being thrown into the canal after the accident, a large number of villagers reached the spot and started creating ruckus. On receiving information about the commotion, Fakuli OP police immediately reached the spot and two SAP personnel entered the canal and pulled out the dead body from the water.
What did the police officer say?
However, Fakuli OP in-charge Mohan Kumar clearly denied the incident of throwing the body in the canal after the accident. He said that an unknown vehicle had crushed the middle-aged man. The deceased has not been identified yet. He said that the safe part of the body has been sent to SKMCH for postmortem, while the part of the body which was badly stuck to the road after the accident has been floated in the canal.
At the same time, on this entire incident, Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar later said that the viral video was investigated in which three policemen have been found guilty. In these, the driver constable has been suspended. At the same time, disciplinary action is being taken by removing two house guards from duty.
