Meta did not clarify what content rapper Kanye West's Instagram account has been banned for and how long it will last.
Social media company Meta has taken action on rapper Kanye West's Instagram account and banned him as well as deleted the content from the account. However the account is still visible.
Meta has a policy that if a user repeatedly violates the policies, then his account is banned. Meta did not clarify what content the ban was for and how long it would last.
Kanye West who uses the handle @kanyewest on Instagram. Recently he posted screenshots of some messages on Instagram which have now been deleted. These were reportedly sent to rapper Diddy. In these messages some remarks were said about Jews.
Had faced sanctions before
Kanye has faced restrictions on Instagram before. In March, the rapper was suspended from the platform for 24 hours. Kanye West was accused of posting hate speech, harassment and racist remarks on Instagram. Subsequently, content was also removed from West's account for violating policies. Last year, Kanye West changed his name to just Yee. In this regard, he had also presented the necessary documents in the court.
