On this day, women fast for the whole day after eating sargi before sunrise and break the fast only after duly worshiping the moon in the evening, offering Arghya. Many women keep the fast of Karva Chauth for 16 years, many keep this fast for the rest of their life. Udyapan takes place only on the day of Karva Chauth

Udyapan of Karva Chauth will be done today. For this 13 to 15 married women are called home. After this, they will be given a betel nut with sweets and food without garlic and onion. On Karva Chauth, call such married women who have not kept the fast of Karva Chauth. Along with this, ask for 13 karvas and clean them and tie Kalava with them. 

How to do Karva Chauth Udyaan

For the Udyapan of Karva Chauth, you should get pudding, puri, kheer, vegetable sweets etc. made for the married women. First of all offer Bhog to Lord Ganesha. Prepare a plate for this.

Take a clean plate and place four puris and halwa in it at 13 different places. After this sprinkle roli, vermilion and rice and duly offer bhog to Lord Ganesha. After this worship Goddess Parvati and Shiva. Along with this, apologize for the mistake and omission. 

Now feed 13 married women who have come home in a proper manner. After having food, they give saris, bangles, bracelets, beeches, anklets, gold and silver ornaments etc. Along with this, get them done 1-1 and take their blessings by touching their feet. Farewell with it with respect.
