Miss Maryland USA, Sanjana Yendluri, Praises Dr. Praveen Chakravarthy's Inspiring Social Work

Sanjana Yendluri, who was recently crowned Miss Maryland Teen USA 2024, has now returned back to her family's hometown in India and has been on quite a visit since then. She recently visited the KTC Educational and Residential Campus, a school that serves 1,800 children from low socioeconomic backgrounds, providing them with quality education, healthcare, and accommodations.

Sanjana was not only impressed by the organisation's work but she also acknowledged and praised the outstanding social work of Dr. Praveen Chakravarthy. Chakravarthy's contributions to the community have made a significant impact on the lives of many underprivileged children and families. While speaking about Chakravarthy's work, Sanjana said- "He has been doing phenomenal work, the atmosphere here feels like he is serving smiles and knowledge to the most important asset of the country."

Dr. Praveen Chakravarthy, a dedicated social worker from Andhra Pradesh, has been at the forefront of numerous initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the marginalized sections of society. His work spans various fields, including healthcare, education, and community development.

Dr. Chakravarthy has organized over 1,870 health camps across India, providing essential medical services to remote and marginalised communities. His efforts have benefited countless individuals, including hundreds of cancer, heart, and dialysis patients. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he supplied oxygen cylinders to nearly 1,800 children and adults, distributed around 2 Lakh COVID-19 test kits and masks.

Understanding the transformative power of education, Dr. Chakravarthy has dedicated significant resources to ensure that children from low-income families have access to quality education. His NGO, SYLOM, has supported numerous students in their pursuit of higher education, both in India and abroad.
