Russian investigative news site The Project has reported that President Vladimir Putin is reportedly living with his gymnast girlfriend Alina Kabaeva. Let us tell you that 'The Project' is a Russian opposition website banned by the Kremlin. 

Where is putin living? 

According to The Project, Putin lives with his girlfriend in a large, high-security property that includes a swimming pool and a movie theatre. This apartment with helipad is considered to be the 'largest apartment in Russia'. 

The report also revealed that Putin bought the property for his 39-year-old girlfriend for $120 million. Putin's estate is located on Valdai Lake, northwest of Moscow.

The apartment is spread over 13,000 sq ft.

The Russian President has bought his girlfriend a property in Cyprus for $120 million from a slush fund, The Project reports. The construction of this house was started from 2020, whose work was completed in the last year 2022.

The mansion is spread over approximately 13,000 square feet and is completely wood-crafted in the style of a Russian dacha. The report also quoted unnamed officials as saying they had seen children at the compound, and some of Alina Kabaeva's female relatives.

First of all, in the year 2021, the team of jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny claimed this apartment. The opposition leader had told that Putin had used budget funds to build this property. 

However, the Kremlin and Alina Kabaeva have repeatedly denied that she is in a relationship with Vladimir Putin.

The report quoted unnamed officials who attended Vladimir Putin's private parties as saying that they had never seen the two together but had no doubt that they were having an affair. Alina Kabaeva was appointed by Vladimir Putin to head Russia's National Media Group in 2014.
