Rajasthan Unemployment Allowance Scheme 2021: Relief for youth will start from April 1

Jaipur: Unemployment allowance in Rajasthan  will start after 7 days that is from 1 April. Unemployed youth and girls registered in employment offices of the state can avail unemployment allowance. Now, unemployed youth in the state will get 4000 Rs per month and women, handicapped and transgender will get unemployment allowance of 4,500 Rs.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, while presenting the budget for unemployed youth on 24 February last month, had announced to increase the unemployment allowance by Rs 1000. This announcement by CM Ashok Gehlot will benefit about 1.60 lakh unemployed youths of the state. Earlier, the unemployed youth in the state used to get unemployment allowance of 3000 rupees and the youths got rupees three and a half thousand rupees.

Earlier, the allowance was given in the name of Akshat Yojana

Earlier, in Rajasthan, the Akshat Yojana was being run by the state government to provide economic support to the unemployed. In this Akshat Yojana, then 600 rupees were being given to men and 750 rupees to women as unemployment allowance. But after the change of power in the state, CM Gehlot changed the name of the scheme and also increased the unemployment allowance.

Unemployment Allowance increased twice in Gehlot's period

Under Gehlot's new scheme, 3000 unemployment allowance was being given to men and Rs. 3500 per month to women, handicapped and transgender. Now once again, the Gehlot government has increased the amount of unemployment allowance. Now unemployed youth will get Rs 4000 and women, handicapped and transgender will get unemployment allowance of Rs 4.5 thousand per month.

For this, the applicant will have to register themselves by visiting the official website of the Department of Skill, Employment. In this, the applialcant has to fill his/her personal information.
