There will be a fight in space! This 'superhero' will compete with the 'enemy' growing at a speed of 24,000 km

There is an estimate of NASA that there are more than 8000 NEOs i.e. Near Earth objects, which can become a threat. Some of these are so huge that they can make an entire city a crater on the earth.

There will be a fight in space! This 'superhero' will compete with the 'enemy' growing at a speed of 24,000 km

NASA Dart Mission: You must have often seen the Avengers of Hollywood fighting big in the universe to save the earth. Sometimes they are seen doing two hands with Thanos and sometimes they try to beat any other super villain. Now NASA is sending its 'super hero' to defeat the 'super villain' moving towards the earth in real life. This 'super hero' is destined to be sacrificed forever in the war, but it will be a great success in his mission to save the earth. In just a few hours, this ruckus will be seen in space.

The name of this 'super villain' moving towards the earth is - Didymos. Actually it is an asteroid. This giant stone is moving at a speed of 24,000 km. Now the American space agency NASA has decided that this danger should be eliminated on the way. For this, NASA has launched a special Dart mission (Double Asteroid Redirection Test). This spacecraft will make a direct collision with Didymos' moon Dimorphos. It is the goal of NASA to see how to deal with such a threat. NASA's special vehicle will encounter this asteroid in the universe 11 million kilometers away from Earth. However, NASA says that there is no danger to the Earth from this asteroid at present. This huge stone is not going to hit the earth, nor will its direction turn towards the earth after colliding with NASA's vehicle.

Dart mission will reach like this

After traveling for 10 months in space, the Dart mission has finally reached its destination. The Dart mission will collide with the asteroid's moon Dimorphos, named Didymos. Dimerfoss is about 525 feet wide. After this Dimerfos will collide with Didymos. It is believed that this collision will change the direction of the giant asteroid. If NASA is successful in doing this then it will be a big achievement. Actually, the main goal is to bend the direction of this giant stone just a little so that the earth can be saved from it. NASA has said that people will be able to see the amazing experience of a 570 kg dart collision through pictures.

At what time will 'Mahatest' happen, when will you be able to watch in India

This special mission of NASA will be launched tomorrow i.e. on September 27, according to the Eastern Time Zone (EDT) at 7.14 pm on Monday. According to India, this will happen at 4.44 am on Tuesday. This mission can be seen on NASA's YouTube channel NASA Television or NASA Media Channel. Dart is the first such mission, which is being sent to stop an asteroid in space.

50 minute show

The entire campaign for the collision of NASA's Dart mission with the asteroid will be about 50 minutes. In these 50 minutes, it has to be seen whether NASA is able to change the direction of the asteroid or not. The first Dart will separate Dimerfos from the asteroid Didymos. After this, the Dart will be re-adjusted so that there can be a direct collision with the Dimerfos. All this will happen at lightning speed. Therefore, controlling them from the earth would be an almost impossible task.

Pictures will come after a few days

Dart will send pictures towards the earth at the speed of one photo per second. Dart had carried a 14 kg Italian CubeSat with him, which has been released a few days back. Its job is to record all the events. The images of the collision are being taken from a safe distance of 50 km.

Why the need

There are thousands of small and big asteroids moving in the universe. Many of these asteroids are in danger of moving towards the Earth. There is an estimate of NASA that there are more than 8000 NEOs i.e. Near Earth objects, which can become a threat. Some of these are so huge that they can make an entire city a crater on the earth.
