UAE pilot Aisha Al Mansoori has become the first woman in the UAE's aviation history to become a commercial captain. Aisha, a 33-year-old UAE native, started her career in 2007 as a commercial pilot with the famous Etihad Airlines. Since then she has been associated with Etihad.

After training at Etihad, Aisha became the first woman pilot in the UAE to fly a superjumbo passenger aircraft Airbus A380 and made history. After which Aisha has once again got her name registered in history by getting promoted to the rank of Captain. Aisha Al Mansoori said that I am proud to be the first female Emirati captain at Etihad Airlines and hope to be an inspiration to young women to pursue their careers in this field. Aisha was promoted to the rank of Captain during a ceremony at the Etihad Briefing Center in Abu Dhabi. During this, his family and colleagues and officers working together were involved.

How was Aisha's career so far?

In 2007, Aisha joined Etihad's pilot program. At that time only two UAE national women were undergoing training in the program, one of whom was Aisha herself. In the year 2010, Aisha completed her training and flew the first flight to Jordan. After which she did not look back and went on moving forward. Aisha Al Mansoori also became the first woman in the UAE to fly a superjumbo passenger aircraft Airbus A380.

Getting Captain rank was not easy for Aisha

To get the rank of Captain, Aisha Al Mansoori had to complete an Etihad program. Along with this, there should be a few hours of flying experience for the captain rank, which was present with Aisha. At the same time, Aisha also passed the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority exams for this, after which she finally reached the rank of Captain.
