Eight undeveloped foetuses were removed from the abdomen of a 21-day-old newborn girl admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi. Doctors have considered the incident of getting 8 embryos from the stomach of the newborn as a wonder. The girl, a resident of Ramgarh, was admitted to a private nursing home in the city after she complained of abdominal pain, where doctors removed the undeveloped fetus from her stomach. At present, the child is under the supervision of doctors and her health is stable.
Operation done under Ayushman Bharat scheme
This newborn girl from Ramgarh was born on 10 October 2022. Later on complaining of abdominal pain, he was admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi, where he was operated on November 1 under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. During this, eight embryos associated with the esophageal tumor of the girl were removed.
Tumor suspected at first sight
On seeing the girl who came to the hospital for treatment, the doctors first suspected that there was a tumor in the stomach after seeing the CT scan report. Later, after 8 foetuses came out of the newborn's stomach, the doctors were also surprised.
There will be no complications in the future for the baby
Ranchi's famous Paediatrician surgeon Dr. Mohammad Imran said that the girl's family had come to the hospital with Tucker's complaint. The operation was done after 21 days keeping the girl under her supervision. It is amazing to see eight embryos coming out one by one. They reported that when the tumor was removed, a head-like embryo was first removed, then a series of seven embryos were followed. All have been removed. He said that the girl's health was stable after being given water and milk. He also expressed hope that no complications are visible for the girl child in future also. She can lead a normal life. But they will keep an eye on the girl child through check-ups at regular intervals.
