There was a stir due to bomb threat in Vistara flight coming from London to Delhi. There were about 290 passengers on the plane. The information about the bomb in the flight was written on a paper, which was found in the toilet.
Although the bomb was not found in the plane, the flight was landed safely at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi IGI Airport). The paper informing about the bomb in the plane was found in a toilet, which was immediately reported to the concerned authorities.
The airline spokesperson said that the crew member flying flight UK 018 coming from London to Delhi got information about the bomb threat. As per the protocol, AOCC at IGI Airport was immediately informed at 8:45 am. The note found in the toilet read, "Bomb this flight."
After landing safely at the airport, the plane was taken to the isolation bay for necessary investigation. The runway was already evacuated. The airline spokesperson said that full cooperation was given in completing the necessary security checks. No bomb was found in the plane during the investigation.
