American professor has made a world record by completing 100 days underwater. However, he had to research whether living in water shrinks the body and reduces its length or not. The professor also succeeded in this.

A professor in Florida, USA has made a surprising record. Actually, this professor has made a world record for staying underwater for 100 consecutive days. Joseph Dituri, a former US Navy diver and expert in biomedical engineering, has made this strange record.

Joseph was living in water since March 1

Joseph Dituri, a former US Navy diver, made the decision to stay at sea in Largo City, Florida, starting March 1. In the beginning, Deturi had decided that he would stay underwater for 10 days and he has completed his challenge.

On Instagram, Joseph Dituri wrote, "Living under the sea for 100 days: always the result of personal and professional searches to discover something new. This experience has changed me tremendously. Broke the record of the year 2014

Deturi have shrunk when their length was measured after being underwater for so many days. 55-year-old Professor Joseph Dituri has also broken the record set in 2014 for staying underwater for 73 days. He did his research by staying underwater for 100 days. When he came out of the water after 100 days, the people of the city stood to welcome him.

What research was Professor Dituri doing?

Professor Dituri of the University of South Florida wanted to understand how prolonged exposure to water affects the human body. Also, they tried to know whether living underwater can slow down the aging process of human beings?
