China-Taiwan Conflict An eight-member team of US lawmakers is reaching Taiwan on Thursday, ignoring all warnings from China. He plans to meet with President Tsai Ing Wen. It will be led by Stephanie Murphy.

Another team of US lawmakers is about to visit Taiwan amid tensions with China. Earlier in August, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, the lower house of the US Parliament, came. 

China had warned America during that time that Pelosi should cancel his visit, otherwise the result would not be correct. However, the US did not listen to China and Pelosi arrived in Taipei on 2 August.

China is upset with America

Since then, top US leaders have continued to arrive in Taiwan. China does not like America to do this, so in anger, it increased its military exercises around Taiwan so that it can show the world how powerful it is. It is known that on Thursday, an eight-member bipartisan delegation is scheduled to meet Taiwan's President Tsai-Ing-wen. 

US lawmakers will enter Taiwan today

An eight-member bipartisan delegation is scheduled to meet Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen on Thursday. The team will be led by US House of Representatives member Stephanie Murphy. 

The US approved the sale of weapons worth about $ 1.1 billion to Taiwan recently. Stephanie is one of the few lawmakers who introduced the bill. This is similar to a bill under which the US provided aid to Ukraine.

Other guests arriving to Taiwan include Kaylee Kahle from Hawaii, Scott Franklin from Florida, Joe Wilson from South Carolina, Andy Barr from Kentucky, Darrell Issa from California, Claudia Tenney from New York and Kat Cammack of Florida.

Pelosi is a high-level US official who has visited Taiwan in the past 25 years. After his visit, China fired shells after the border with Taiwan and also sent its warships in the Taiwan Straits. 

Actually, China considers Taiwan as its part and does not like anyone else's interference in the affairs between them.
