According to an FBI official, the investigation has not yet revealed whether the attacker was suffering from any mental problem, made threatening posts on internet media or had any other motive. He also said that it would be too early to say anything.

US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who is facing criticism for not being able to identify the attacker at the rally, said, 'The Secret Service personnel present there acted swiftly during the incident, our counter sniper team killed the attacker and our agents took protective measures to ensure the safety of former President Donald Trump.'

Security of National Convention increased

Cheetle also said that the agency is increasing the security of Trump and the National Convention in Milwaukee. The Secret Service said that it will fully cooperate with the investigation announced by President Joe Biden and Congress (Parliament) members.
