PTI chairman and former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned the government against taking steps to stop his (Haqiki Azadi March) march. He said on Saturday that he would announce the date of his "Haqeeqi Azadi March" next Thursday or Friday.

On the other hand, the administration has seized over 700 containers to counter the 'Azadi March'. Rajdhani police said they would manage around 1,100 containers to cordon off the capital during the long march.

According to the information of The News International, 525 containers are kept on 22 different roads. At the same time, earlier on Monday, the PTI chief had warned the Shahbaz Sharif-led government that the anti-government "Azadi March" would not be extended beyond October as they have completed their preparations.

According to the report of Geo News, in a press conference, Khan said, "If the government does not announce the date of the next general election, then my march will be in October." The PTI chief warned the government that a large number of people would take to the streets following his call for an anti-government march.

Khan said that he is still giving some time to the government so that they can take a decision on it. I am actually giving them some more time before starting my long march protest.

Khan's press conference on Sunday came after his party won the by-election by a huge margin. PTI won six of the eight National Assembly seats and his party added two more seats to its seat count in the Punjab Assembly.

The PTI chief slammed the law enforcement agencies for registering a case against aging PTI leader Azam Swati on "baseless allegations and then allegedly causing grievous harm to her in police custody. She said that in front of her grandchildren." The 75-year-old was beaten up.

Slamming the government for allegedly torturing the PTI leader and former federal minister, he said that what the officials did to him was completely shameless, Geo News reported.
