Some satellite images have also surfaced after the Israeli air strike. An American researcher said the attack targeted a building in Iran that was part of its defunct nuclear weapons development program.
Another researcher said buildings were also targeted where Iran uses to mix solid fuel for ballistic missiles. He told Reuters that Israel attacked buildings in Parchin, a huge military complex near Tehran.
Israel said - this was our revenge
The Israeli military said Israeli jets attacked missile factories and other sites near Tehran and in western Iran on Saturday morning in retaliation for Tehran's attack of more than 200 missiles against Israel on October 1. Israel named it 'Operation Days of Repentance'.
On the other hand, Iran's military said Israeli fighter jets used "very light warheads" to attack border radar systems in Ilam, Khuzestan and provinces around Tehran, causing little damage.
