Former President Jair Bolsonaro was believed to be the accused for the riots in January. Now 67 years old Zaire is living in a small town in Florida, USA. He is being probed for his alleged involvement in the unrest, which he has vehemently denied.

Bolsonaro, who lived in a grand presidential palace during the tenure of former US President Donald Trump, is now leading a normal life in a small community near the Disney World resort.

Talk to supporters in the program

In his first six weeks in the United States, Bolsonaro kept a modest profile. Currently, he is living in the Orlando home of former Brazilian martial arts champion Jose Aldo. Here he goes to the store to buy ration and also goes to eat alone in the restaurant.

On Friday, the man who recently commanded huge crowds in his home country spoke to about 400 supporters during an event organized by US conservative organization Turning Point USA at the Trump National Hotel in the city of Doral, near Miami. However, it is not yet clear whether Donald Trump played any role in the ceremony.

Declared himself popular

There was an atmosphere of election rally in this meeting. Bolsonaro talked about fulfilling his duties towards his country. Bolsonaro said of his presidency, "There is no greater satisfaction than fulfilling a duty."

Bolsonaro described himself as more popular than ever. "Many people are still in shock from what happened in the election, but we will face it and God willing we will win together," he said. Bolsonaro said he was sorry for what some people had done during the unrest.

Bolsonaro was greeted by crowds at both events in Florida, with supporters hugging him, taking selfies with him and cheering him on. "I've always been a huge admirer of the American people - their freedom, their patriotism and their love for the flag," he said while addressing the gathering on Friday.
