Taking to its Twitter handle, the Education Minister writes that Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said, “The Chief Minister had approved starting classes for students of 5th to 8th grade in the state. These classes will be opened with all precautions from January 27, he said. He further said that the Chief Minister has assured the safety of the students.
In another circular, BMC has banned the reopening of schools and colleges in Mumbai city. According to the circular issued by BMC, all schools and colleges, which were earlier closed till January 15, will now be closed till further orders. BMC has not yet shared any date to reopen the school. Schools in other states of the country have also started reopening in large numbers. Under this, Assam has already started schools for all students.
