Man shares picture of 'live rat' inside bread packet delivered from delivery app, company responds
Bread packets delivered from the delivery app Online applications have made life simpler by introducing grocery delivery from door to door apart from food delivery.
One Twitter user found that buying bread online was one of the most frustrating experiences of his life. Bread was not the issue; Rather, he was horrified to find a live rat inside the product's packaging. The customer, identified as Nitin Arora, used the delivery application to get instant delivery of food items. However, the package has now scarred him for life.
"The user tweeted about his horrifying encounter and included a photo of bread packaging as evidence." This is worrying for all of us. If there's an item like this in 10-minute delivery, "Blinkit, I'd rather wait a few hours than pick up an item like this.The tweet also included a screenshot of his conversation with the online application's customer support team. The Blinkit executive promised the customer during the entire brief exchange that the issue had been taken up for internal investigation.

While doing so, the executive also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the consumer. Nitin Arora's unusual delivery story has left Twitter in shock, and a group of users have demanded a thorough probe into the matter by not only the delivery app but also food safety officials. One user wrote, "As much English Oven and Blinkit need to explain this. I wonder if our food safety authorities actually audit these places from time to time and check for 'safety'.
Although the problem was immediately escalated, it is still unknown how the online delivery company has compensated for this major inconvenience.
