Earlier in August 2022, Darya Dugina, daughter of Dugin, an advisor to President Vladimir Putin, was killed in a car bomb blast. 

Vladlen Tatarsky, who writes a blog based on military information in Russia, has died and 19 people have been injured in a bomb blast. The explosion occurred in a cafe in St. Petersburg where Tatarsky had gone. This is the second incident of such a bomb blast in Russia in which a person close to the ruling party has been targeted. Tatarsky's real name was Maxim Fomin.

There were more than 5,60,000 followers on Telegram

Tatarsky had more than 560,000 followers on the Internet media site Telegram. He was one of the most popular bloggers in Russia. He had good relations with high military officials, but he also used to raise sharp questions in his blog on the delay in achieving success in Ukraine. 

An investigation into the blast has begun but so far there is no indication as to who carried out the incident. Earlier in August 2022, Darya Dugina, daughter of Dugin, an advisor to President Vladimir Putin, was killed in a car bomb blast. Dugin was saved by not being in the car.
