Russia wants restoration of old Soviet Union - Biden
Biden started economic sanctions as the first action on Russia and in this sequence today he said that now Moscow will not be able to trade in dollars, pounds, euros etc. We are going to impose such sanctions. Biden also said that the G-7 countries have agreed to move forward on devastating sanctions packages and other economic measures against Russia. Tweeting about this, Biden said that he met with his G-7 counterparts to discuss President Putin's inappropriate attack on Ukraine and during this time these things have been agreed. Earlier, the US President said in a statement that President Putin has chosen a premeditated war that will cause catastrophic damage to people's lives and cause human suffering.
During the talks, the White House said in a statement that G-7 leaders are discussing a joint response to Putin's non-provocative and unfair attack on Ukraine.
