Video: one of its worst-ever flour crises in Pakistan amid wheat shortage, people are wandering from door to door
Wheat has run out in many areas of three provinces of Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan, due to which people are suffering from hunger. People are bent upon killing each other for a sack of wheat.
Pakistan Economic Crisis: People in three provinces of Pakistan, who are struggling with bad economic conditions after last year's flood, did not even have flour left to eat. Wheat ran out in many areas of Pakistan's three provinces Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan, due to which people there were bent on killing each other even for a sack of flour.
In the video going viral on social media, it can be seen that people there are snatching from each other for a sack of flour. In many areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan provinces, people in the market are running after trucks for a sack of flour. People here are suffering from hunger and there is no food even for the children, due to which even the children can be seen crying out of hunger.

'People stand in the market for hours'
According to a report by Pakistan's news agency Express Tribune, thousands of people stand in the market for hours every day for discounted flour bags. At present, the prices of flour are skyrocketing here. If reports are to be believed, the price of one kg flour in Karachi is Rs 160, whereas in Islamabad and Peshawar, a 10 kg bag of flour is being sold for Rs 1,500 per kg.
Death by hunger and stampede for flour
On the one hand, where wheat has run out in Pakistan, on the other hand, in many areas the public has become furious due to hunger and is ready to go to any extent to get flour. According to media reports, a stampede broke out in Mirpurkhas district of Sindh, in which one person died. According to the news, 10 kg flour was being sold there on subsidy, during which a 40-year-old laborer died after falling on the road in an uproar.
