The Indian Meteorological Department has also revealed why record rainfall has been recorded this time in the month of March. Along with this, a warning has also been issued about how the weather will be in the coming 24 hours.

Reason behind excess rainfall in March this year 

In fact, earlier this possibility was expressed by the Meteorological Department that this time in the month of March it will be May-like heat. In the initial days, this possibility also seemed to be true. But after this the weather took such a turn that everything changed. With strong winds, there was heavy rain and hail.

According to meteorologists, two western disturbances were the reason behind this sudden change in the weather pattern. Because of their activation, there was record rain and decrease in temperature in March.

Due to these disturbances, the level of moisture increased in both the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. This is the reason that in March, where there was a possibility of increasing heat, the weather has brought down the temperature with icy winds and there has been record-breaking rain. This time in March, the rain has broken the record of 73 years.

Thunderstorm and hail alert

IMD has also issued an alert for rain and hailstorm with strong winds for the next 24 hours. That is, the beginning of the month of April is also likely to happen with a drop in temperature. According to the Department of Innocent, this mood of the weather can last for the next 72 hours.

Along with Delhi-NCR, there is a possibility of rain in many areas of UP. In some areas of UP, there is also an alert for hailstorm along with thunderstorms. Kanpur is mainly included in these. 

Red alert also issued

IMD has issued a red alert for western UP. There is a possibility of rain, thunderstorms and hailstorm in 37 districts. These include Mudradabad, Amroha, Rampur, Bareilly, Kanpur, Agra, Aligarh, Etah, Hardoi.

Weather may worsen in Noida-Ghaziabad as well

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Noida and Ghaziabad districts may deteriorate once again on Saturday evening. On Wednesday and Thursday in the evening, the weather suddenly deteriorated in these areas and it rained heavily with strong winds. Although the weather remained clear on Friday.
