Aadhar card address update: You can easily update the address in the Aadhar card, this is the process

Aadhar Card is currently the most important document. It is necessary that every information entered in the Aadhar card is required. Actually, Aadhar card address is also a valid document. If you are changing your house, then you must update your new address in the Aadhar card.

The biggest feature in Aadhar Card is that it can be changed online in various details. Any change in the address entered in the Aadhar card can also be requested online. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) allows Aadhar card holders to update their addresses without any proof. Let us know the step-by-step process of updating Aadhar card address.

Step 1. First of all log on to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in.

Step 2. Now click on 'Address Validation Letter' from the 'My Aadhar' menu.

Step 3. After this a new page will open.

Step 4. Now enter 12-digit Aadhar number or 16-digit virtual ID here.

Step 5. Now submit the Captcha Code for verification.

Step 6. Then click on 'Send OTP'.

Step 7. Now enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

Step 8. After this, as soon as the Verifier clicks on the link, he will get an OTP for verification.

Step 9. Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.

Step 10. After this verification, you will get the Service Request Number (SRN) through SMS.

Step 11. Now login with SRN. After this, preview the address and edit the address entered in the local language according to the need. Now tick the declaration and click on submit button.

Step 12. Now edit the address entered in the local language and click on the save button.

Step 13. Tick the declaration once again and click on submit request.

Step 14. Now an address validation letter with a secret code will be sent to the Verifier's address by post.

Step 15. Once again open the official website of UIDAI and click on the link 'Proceed to Update Address'.

Step 16. Now login with the Aadhar number and select the 'Update Address via Secret Code' option.

Step 17. Now enter the secret code, after that preview the new address and click on the 'Submit' button.
